Hello everybody!
I know we’re nearly at the end of January so it is not a new year as such. But it is my first post this year! I’ve been having a restructure of thoughts and plans this year so far, I really feel in a different place to where I was this time last year.
I have read a Marie Kondo book about decluttering and having your home filled with things that “spark joy” and hence what you love. I’ve watched a documentary on Netflix called “Forks Over Knives” and we are looking at mixing up our eating habits and diet. The documentary talks about the health benefits of moving to a whole food, plant based diet.
These two topics look set to dominate my year, and my thoughts and planning. Or definitely for the next few weeks.
I have been doing a lot of decluttering already this month, but there is so much to do. And so little time in between family life and all the usual responsibilities.
And last night I decided I would start a bullet journal. I have had my own journal system which is very similiar to the bullet journal concept, but the “bujo” is a much more trackable, organised version. And I’m looking forward to trying to get a little creative with it. I’ve already been playing with the layouts today – while minding a sick little baba (well she’s nearly 3, but my baba!).
So that’s where I am right this minute, hopefully I’ll get a chance to get on here and let you know how its all going.
