Day 9 of My Month of Gratitude

This one is a really important one for everyone

  1. My Husband
  2. My Children
  3. My Step-Children
  4. My Step-Grandchildren
  5. My Family
  6. My Friends
  7. My Home
  8. Our Utilities
  9. Our Health

Your health is your wealth. Everyone knows the saying. But it is the truth. As simple as if you don’t have your health, you can’t work and earn money, but it affects your life in every single way because you cannot enjoy your life in full if you are in bad health.

I have aches and pains, I am overweight, I have banjaxed joints, and loads of different health issues – but overall I am healthy. I am very grateful for many things about my health. I am thankful that so far my obesity hasn’t caused too many issues that I know of, I don’t have diabetes, I am on no medication for blood pressure or heart issues. I don’t want to ever be and I hope that I can get rid of this weight this year (and a bit of next year!) for good, and be healthy and fit for the rest of my life. I am thankful for how healthy that I am. Even though I have a far way to go.

I am so grateful for the health of my family and my loved ones. I am very lucky in general that we have very little ill-health, overall, in my life. Obviously we do have issues, but in general we have been lucky. I am thankful that we have conquered cancer twice in close circle (a family member and a friend) in the past two years. I am thankful that most of the health issues we have around us are treatable. I am so thankful and grateful for all my family and friends health, as well as for my own.
