It’s Monday morning, well at this stage it is getting closer to afternoon. And I am just finally getting to get my first cup of coffee of today. I am exhausted. Had a few late nights (not out having fun, just watching tv!), the baby is up for a bit each night, and then slept in this morning to try catch up. Of course then I missed my time slot to have a shower before the school run, so when I put the baby to bed for her nap I jumped into the shower but when I got out I woke her up, and had to fight her for another hour to get her back to sleep (she needs this nap). We have a busy afternoon getting eye tests for me and Biz so trying to get ready now, so can go straight after playschool pickup, but my body is on a go-slow.
My head is a very tired, and a bit slow. So I am sitting here typing, with my cup of coffee. I love coffee. I take it milky and sweet. And it is like my treat of the day. I generally only have one LARGE coffee each day, unless I meet someone out or someone comes to visit me. Often I will be sitting here in the evening, looking forward to tomorrow mornings coffee. I know that sounds sad, but I do and I love my first coffee of the day, generally on my own in peace!
I love my coffee, and while its not hugely important in the grand scale of things, and if I had to live without it, I would be able to (I suppose lol) but I am thankful that I don’t have to. I am grateful for the joy that the cup of coffee each morning brings me!
